Admissions

Little Giraffes has an Admissions Policy which confirms the admission arrangements for all services: Pre School, Wraparound Holiday Club and INSET Childcare. Please review the admissions policy for full information as the website provides a basic overview. Current service dates are available. As a paperless organisation all forms are completed electronically.  

 

Booking queries are communicated via the booking system to ensure childcare staff can focus their time on children at the setting.  

 

Prior to a booking being confirmed, Little Giraffes requires the full registration process to be completed to effectively care for your child. Little Giraffes operates on a first come, first served basis.

Pre School

Pre school is for children aged two to five years (inclusive). Little Giraffes Pre School admissions overview steps are listed below: 

• Step 1 – Initial enquiry via the online form 

• Step 2 – Pre School introductory meeting 

• Step 3  - Complete full registration forms and pay deposit 

• Step 4 – Booking confirmation provided  

 

Wraparound Holiday Club  

Wraparound holiday club is for children aged three to eleven years (inclusive). Little Giraffes Wraparound Holiday Club admissions overview steps are listed below: 

• Step 1 – Complete full registration forms and make full payment 

• Step 2 – Booking confirmation provided 

 

Families are welcome to request an introductory meeting before booking wraparound holiday club.

INSET Day Childcare 

INSET day childcare is for children aged three to eleven years (inclusive) from local primary schools, available for children from a school which is fully closed on service dates. Little Giraffes are not able to accommodate children from schools which are open where children are legally required to attend school. Little Giraffes INSET Day Childcare admissions overview steps are listed below: 

• Step 1 – Complete full registration forms and make full payment 

• Step 2 – Booking confirmation provided 

 

Families are welcome to request an introductory meeting before booking INSET day childcare.
